1990 – 2001

When the two talented architects Gösta Tiemer and Max Rieder started working together in 1990, they were so successful that a year later they formed the partnership Tiemer&Rieder Architektur Gstaad. The firm was located at Cheseryplatz in Gstaad and employed a staff of six. The two architects worked together for eleven years, a period marked by constant growth and success.

2002 – 2007

In 2002, when Gösta Tiemer retired, Max Rieder bought him out and registered a new company, Rieder Architektur Gstaad, as a sole trader. At this point in time the firm employed a staff of twelve. Three years later the status of the business was changed from sole trader to limited company. The growth of the real estate business was so promising that Max Rieder decided that very same year to found the company Rieder Bau und Immobilien AG.

2008 – today

The business continued to grow and office space was becoming a problem. The company then renovated the old chalet, which once housed the post office, at Bahnhofstrasse 5 in Saanen and moved there in 2008. Today, more than 16 persons are employed by Rieder Architektur AG and Rieder Bau und Immobilien AG.
